Welcome to my Classroom Information page!

Here, you will find our class rules, important dates and files that may be helpful to parents.

Classroom Rules:
In our classroom, we are big on being Respectful, Organized, Always safe, and Responsible (ROAR). If a student is choosing to not follow one of our ROAR rules, they may be given a verbal warning or they may be asked to place their agenda in a designated box to show them a warning. If the unwanted behavior continues to occur, then the student will receive a mark in their agenda as a note home to parents .  The behavior is then discussed one-on-one to explain what the student can do next time to follow the ROAR rules.

Conduct Cards and Tuesday Folders:
Our 4th graders are practicing responsibility by writing in their agendas every day. We send Tuesday Folders out every Tuesday with important information and graded work. Students are also practicing responsibility by taking their red folder and conduct card to and from school each day. Parents, please help us by working with your student on being responsible!

Retest/Redo Policy:
Students will be retaught concepts they do not master. Reteaching may take place in whole group, small group, or during individual instruction. - Students will be allowed one opportunity to retest on major grades only.  Rubrics, projects and final nine weeks/semester assessments will be exempt from reteach/retest procedures. - Reteach/retest will need to be done within ten days of the original test being given. - Retest can be an alternative assessment on the same content or the same activity. - Students who earn a grade below a 70% will be required to participate in a reteach session and then retest for that assignment.   - Students will receive an average of the two grades.  If a student receives a lower grade on the retest, then the original grade will stand in the gradebook.
